On Jan 1st I will jump into Long Island Sound at Lighthouse in New Haven with 3 fellow North Haven Rotarians (Guy Casella, Luigi Nuzzolillo and Johnathan Martinek) and my son Adam Bassett to create awareness for Breast Cancer.
I made this plunge last year and was able to raise about $1,400 for this very important cause. Apparently I inspired a following of other polar bears as 5 of us will do it this year.
We hit the water at at 12:30 pm on Jan 1, 2012 at Lighthouse in New Haven so come out and see us.
