RYLA was held at the Homewood Suites in Stratford CT this past weekend. There were 54 young people (ages 14 – 30) that participated including 42 from first year and 12 ‘returning champions’ from last year.

The weekend long event was run by Justin Phillips, Eddie Blue, Dave Ullman, Julie Reppenhagen, Tom Brown (and probably a person or two that I missed, sorry).

I had the pleasure of being invited to judge the project competition between the 8 teams that presented. It was very difficult to pick winners as all of the projects were very well done. Thankfully DG Brian gave the good and bad news to the crowd.

An impressive group of students that will go far in life.
