The Bridgeport Connecticut Rotary Club inducted 7 new members during their lunch meeting today.
Membership Chair Virgillio Lopez did an outstanding job recruiting the new club members under President Rosa J. Correa’s leadership.
President Correa has indicated that she plans to induct 10 new members by the end of her term on June 30th. With 1 new member previously inducted this year that leaves her with 2 additional spots to fill.
PDG Abe Gordon (Bridgeport Rotary) gave a great overview of Rotary and provided several powerful personal stories about his international experiences in Rotary. DGE Rick Bassett (North Haven Rotary) inducted the members along with Membership Chair Virgillio Lopez.
All 7 of the new members will attend and indoctrination meeting within the next several weeks.
