Given that this conference is in Connecticut we will sell out of hotel rooms again, as we did last year. So be sure to register early if you are planning on staying at the Dolce. About 50% of the hotel rooms have already been reserved.
It will be a great conference that should prove to be fun and a good value as it will be held right here in our backyard of beautiful Norwalk CT.

We can finally take the wraps off of the plans for the Magical Mystery Tour at our District Conference at the Mystic Marriott in Groton, CT. D7930 John Hall has been dying to know.
Our Friday night dinner at the conference will conclude with BritishMania, an internationally acclaimed group that does a fabulous Beatles review show.
Conference attendees who have registered for Friday May 2nd or the entire conference weekend will get to enjoy this show as part of their package. Others who are interested in attending can come in at 8:30pm for $30 per person (or $25 per person two or more). Tickets must be purchased in advance.

The 2014 District Conference and Assembly will be held at the Mystic Marriott in Groton May 2-4th this coming year and the District Conference/Assembly committee is hard at play putting together a unique and fun event for the attendees.
Our District Conference returns to the great State of Connecticut for the first time in over 20 years which should give many Rotarians, friends and family the opportunity to attend a District Conference for their very first time. Our conference is structured so that attendees can save money by registering without a hotel room if they live nearby or they can pick the registration option that gives you a great room at the Mystic Marriott. The conference features a hands-on community service project, club project showcasing, recognitions for outstanding clubs and more fun than you would expect to have (What’s that mean? Well…Nick Casella is in charge of entertainment on Friday and Saturday night so anything can happen).

But wait there is more. DGE Mukund Nori and I have taken advantage of the event location and teamed up to combine the District Training Assembly with the District Conference. The District Assembly will run from 12 PM – 5 PM on Saturday May 3rd.
