West Haven Rotary Serves Up their 13th Annual Taste of West Haven last night

The West Haven Rotary Club held their 13th annual ‘Taste of West Haven’ event at the Westwood’s Italian American Club last night. The event was well attended and very well organized.

Event attendees were treated to an abundance of good food and deserts from the best restaurants in West Haven as well as beer and wine tasting that was arranged for by Ye Old Liquor Shoppe.

Fun and fellowship spontaneously breaks out when you put a bunch of West Haven Rotarians in a room with food and drink. Jennifer and I look forward to attending this ‘Taste’ event each year.

Beacon Falls Rotary terrifies everyone at their Haunted Hayride

The Beacon Falls Rotary Club scared hundreds of men, women and children this weekend during their 2nd Annual Haunted Hayride.

The Club pulled out all of the stops with this spooktacular event that featured a terrifying ride through the Haunted Forest followed by ear piercing screaming, a collection of smelling salts and various refreshments.

Pulling off a frightening event of this scale required the collective evil genius of; The Rotary Club of Beacon Falls, Cub-scout Pack 2010, Beacon Falls Park & Rec, the WRHS Interact Club and the Connecticut Soul Seekers.

Wallingford Rotary Craft Brewer’s Festival

The Wallingford Connecticut Rotary Club held their 1st Annual Craft Brewer’s Festival yesterday in the center of Wallingford. Several hundred attendees enjoyed sampling dozens of beers from 14 Brewers on a perfect fall day.

Derby-Shelton Rotary Hoptoberfest brings in a BIG Crowd!!!

Today was a perfect fall day for the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club’s Hoptoberfest event which was held at the Rotary Pavilion at the Shelton Riverwalk.

Attendees were treated to Live Music, 50+ Craft Beers plus Wings from 8 different Valley Restaurants which battled for the title of ‘Best Wing”.

Westport Sunrise packs in over 400 attendees for their Wine Tasting event

The Westport Sunrise Rotary Club held their 24th Annual Wine & Beer Tasting event tonight night to a Standing Room Only crowd of over 400 in the Great Hall of the Christ & Holy Trinity Church in Westport Connecticut.

There was wine & beer from about a dozen merchants, live music, fabulous food, great conversation and fellowship as well as what appeared to be about 100 silent auction items (thanks for making the bid sheet yellow, well played).

Many Rotarians from the Fairfield, Westport and North Haven Clubs came out to support The Westport Sunrise Fundraiser. It is always fabulous to see Visiting Rotarians supporting other Clubs.

Trumbull Rotary – Wine Tasting a hit at Tashua Knolls last night

The Trumbull Rotary Club had an excellent turnout for their Wine Tasting event last night at the Tashua Knolls Restaurant in Trumbull.

It was especially nice to see that the event was not only supported by Trumbull Rotarians but also by numerous Rotarians from the following Rotary Clubs: Monroe, Bridgeport, Fairfield, Westport and of course North Haven.
