The Ridgefield Sunrise Club inducted Ron and Carol Giustino into Rotary this morning making them the 4th and 5th new members into the Club since July 1st. Geri Blair, Tim O’Malley and Al Vargas were all recently inducted.

For a small Club, the Ridgefield Sunrise Club has been very active this year. So far:

They added 5 new members

They changed their meeting venue to Tom Tom’s Restaurant, 417 Main Street, Ridgefield

They collected well over 300 bags of food valued at over $6,000 at their food drive

They held a benefit dinner for the Disabled American Veterans, at 50 Coins Restaurant, on November 14th.

They just donated $1,200 to the Rotary Foundation and have committed to becoming an EREY (every Rotarian every year) Club in 2014

This is a new Club that was chartered in 2011 and is really beginning to get traction. We are looking forward to seeing big things from them.
