Milford Rotary slow cooks their 5th and Final Blues Brews and BBQ

The Milford Rotary Club had about 200 attendees turn out on March 22nd for the Club’s  5th annal Blues Brews and BBQ event. This event featured a tasty Down-Home Slow Cooked BBQ meal prepared by Shoreline Chef Larry Landsberg and Milford Rotarians, music by Jay Rowe and Friends, a silent auction, a live auction and dancing.

This is the 5th, and rumored to be the final time, that the Club will run this event. Over the past 5 years this event has netted the Club tens of thousands of dollars and added considerably to everyone’s waistlines and enjoyment.

This event is a big undertaking for a Club that already does 2 monster fundraisers each year; The Lobster Bake and The Milford Oyster Festival. Perhaps lobbying incoming President Eric Tashlein, along with promising 300 attendees can help keep Blues Brews & BBQ alive another year.
